Lesson Learned

I was just blogging away about my progress on the dollhouse, went to add a picture, and the app crashed. Had I saved? OF COURSE NOT!

Now I don't even know what to do. Should I try to recreate what I had written before? It feels so forced and automatic when you write something for the second time, like you are telling someone a story again. Like that movie Groundhogs day. God, I hate that movie. I could never subject my blog to that. So, I guess I'll just forget all the stuff I had written and lost. It's gone and lost forever, oh well.

Just saved. I learned my lesson. Nothing that costs 2.99 is going to work perfectly. I know that.

Ok, I will talk about my dollhouse progress cause, well, I want to (and this is my blog! Lol). I cut out all the pieces for the house last night, including the pattern which I couldn't seem to find from last time. While I was cutting Hubs and I watched Sons of Anarchy which I believe may be one of the best shows on tv. Honestly. Watch it.

Here are the pattern pieces. They are marked in pen this time. Pen is serious. It means don't throw me away.

I cut the outside pieces of the house out all in yellow. I do plan on making a roof, but wanted to try something different this time.

The inside I decided to make with purples. I have a lot of purple scraps my sister gave me from a quilt she made for one of our cousins. The ceiling is a dark purple with stars. Call me crazy, but it kinda reminds me of the whole inside/outside decor theme that's popular now. For the "outside" part of the inside of the house I used some green that I had leftover from the bloomers. I love that fabric.

Tonight, after the gym, I'm going to start marking out the lupine on the front of the house, and cutting out the roof pieces. Not much but, gym nights are late home nights.

At least tomorrow is Friday!
